With its colorful Caribbean-inspired decor and laid-back atmosphere, Mango's is the perfect spot to enjoy fresh seafood, island cocktails, and live music while soaking in panoramic views of the lake. Los Amigos Bar and Grill is a beloved lakeside eatery known for its authentic Mexican cuisine and festive ambiance. Located at Crazy Horse Marina, Los Amigos offers a vibrant dining experience with waterfront seating, flavorful dishes like sizzling fajitas and cheesy enchiladas, and a selection of refreshing margaritas. Crazy Horse Marina has a packed events schedule in the summer and is the hub for “Pirate Days” every July, check out their website for the latest and greatest on events. We recommend walking to the top floor for great lake views too!

The grill serves up a variety of American style dishes, including wings, pizza, burgers and salads. Mitchell’s prides itself on it’s laid back atmosphere with a friendly staff that will always make you feel welcome.

Overlooking the marina at Virginia Dare Cruises and Marina , Portside Grill & Bar combines scenic lake views with casual, open air waterfront dining. Guests can indulge in a diverse menu featuring fresh seafood, juicy burgers, and signature cocktails while enjoying live entertainment and panoramic vistas of Smith Mountain Lake. Portside has a locals vibe to it and is smaller than most of the other restaurants on this list. We love the laidback vibe and the food and drinks are delicious. Family-owned and operated, Jake's Place is a charming waterfront restaurant that captures the essence of Southern hospitality. Situated in the heart of Smith Mountain Lake, Jake's serves up classic comfort foods like smash burgers and friend pickles but offers an array of delicious seafood too. We recommend the shrimp tacos! We are regulars every morning for our caffeine fix and enjoy sipping our coffee on the covered deck out back looking down on Bridgewater Marina.
